Jim Shirm told us that he had a great cold bred bull that we should come and take a look at last Fall.  When Eric and Craig saw him he struck us as a bull that had a lot of potential.  A look at his pedigree shows he has dams of Straight Arrow, Project Red and of Frazer.  These three sires have had a tremendous impact on our herd.   The Vernice dam of the sire is one of the best cows Jim could find at Bootjack Ranch.  Jim Shirm thinks a lot if this bull and with a master breeder like Jim behind him that says enough.  His carcass will become available as we ultrasound his progeny.  N48's growth is in the top 30% of the breed.

This is the first son of Make Mimi that we have brought back into the program to use and when you see him you will know why.  His dam is a half sister to a whole string of cows that have been producing herdsires for us and our customers.  All the more reason to bring him back into the program.  To date his progeny look solid and he is in the top 5% of the breed for WW, top 20% for YW, and top 15% for REA.
