We decided to bring Rob Roy 6990 back into our program after he sold to Rafter H. His dam sold to Elliot Rustad in 2003 and has been the kind of cow that produced a good one year in and year out. Rob Roy's brothers have all went into purebred herds including Lonker's and Larry Harrison. Allen Havick, Rafter H, used him hard the first 4 years and we have used him heavily the past couple of years. He is the thickest Straight Arrow son to date and his calves have not disappointed us.

Canyon Hawk has gotten a lot of attention the past couple of years. He is one of the high REA sires in the breed and can produce daughters that are some of the most sought after in the Red Angus breed. His daughters were our high averaging sire group in our 2003 cow sale. Many of our top bulls have had a Canyon Hawk daughter in the pedigree. Canyon Hawk impressed Ron early because even as a yearling he was extremely masculine. We have continued to use this sire via AI and thru his sons. His EPD's put him in the top 35% of the breed for growth and top 1% for REA.
