This Combination son is out of a full sister to YW trait leader, Bieber Chiefton 3080. Tom & Robyn Ryckman bought this cow bred at our 2003 Cow Sale. Feather had always been a cow we liked and at last years sale she produced a bull that sold as the high selling 2-year old bull selling to Namken Red Angus and we expect to hear from him again. We cleaned up on heifers with Red Feather and after that we decided to get him ready with a few heifers Eric and Kristin were going to show at the National Jr. Show at the Iowa State Fair. Red Feather represented us well and took second at the 2005 national show in probably one of the toughest class in the whole show. We expect this young sires calves to be better than their sire. His WW is in the top 4% of the breed, YW in the top 2% and Marbling in the top 10% and we expect with his 15 square inch ribeye at a year of age his REA will improve as his progeny prove him.
