The Bieber's, Ron, Lois, Craig and Peggy, and
an enthusiastic Crew hosted an excellent crowd of buyers at
their annual production sale. The weather was moderate in the
morning with a snow squall moving through after the sale started.
This is one of the top Red Angus breeders in North America and
has been for many years. Bieber Red Angus ranch held their 27
Production sale at the ranch with a large crowd of cattlemen.
Buyers from 13 states and Canada. Ron and Craig and Crew focused
on complete cattle with excellent EPD's and superior carcass
traits. The Bieber's have been keeping total performance records
from the inception of their herd in 1968.
Yearling Red Angus Bulls: |
| Lot 9, Bieber
Big Chunk 8728 was the top seller at $8000 for half interest
and full possession, going to Larry Harrison of White River,
SD. This 03/02 son of Bieber Big Mac 6393 and out of Bieber
Gal 5447 presented every needed to be a top herd sire, pedigree,
performance and style in a very attractive package. He had a
88 lb. Birth weight, a 205 wt. of 705, WR 103, 365 wt. 1275,
YR 101 and EPD's of BW -1.9, WW 36, YW 71, Milk 14, TM 32, STAY
12. |

was an added lot, Bieber High Design 8741, a 03/02 5L
Rocky Mountain High son out of a Bieber Design 2778 daughter
sold to Hansmeier and Son's of Bristol, SD for $4300 for half
interest and full possession. This powerful herd sire prospect
had a 91 lb. Birth weight and a 205 wt. of 726 lbs, WR 111,
365 day wt. of 1291, YR 111. EPD's BW -.6, REA .14. |

Just Sonic 8665, a 02/02 Bieber Boone 6927 son out of a
Bieber Topper 2476 daughter sold to NeoSho Farms for $4100.
selling 2/3 interest and full possession. This powerful Boone
son had a 74 lb. Birth weight. EPD's TM 36 and STAY 13. His
BW EPD 's in the top 30%, WW and YW in the top 10% of the breed. |

Rojo Rambler 8712 a 03/02 son of VGW Rambler 1000, sold
to Milton & Peggy Ustad, Beresford, S.D. for $4000. selling
1/3 interest and full possession with a low birth weight of
74 and his growth is in the top 20% of the breed with great
calving ease and fast growth. |

Gitano 8913, a 03/02 VGW Rambler 1000 son and a Bieber Red
Girl dam going back to Robin Hood, sold to Leland Red Angus,
Sidney, Mt. for $4000 for half interest and full possession.
This Rambler son has some well-balanced numbers. BW 78, WW 721,
YW 1297. EPD's BW -2.6, Milk 22, TM 36. This Rambler son is
in the top 35% of the bred for RE and Marb. RE 12.4 and Marb
is 3.27. |

Sherman Tank 8775, a 03/02 Buf Crk Vaquero 4572 son out
of a Vigor 1000D daughter sold to Sandra Marsching with Vulture
Acres Red, Enderlin, ND for $3600. This Vaquero son has some
great growing ability. WW 769 and YW 1378. EPD's WW 44, WR 112,
YW 82, YR 118, TM 34. Carcass REA 14.2 RR 116, Marb 4.41 and
MR 132. |

Bieber Jefe Grande 8748, a 03/02 son of Big Mac 6393,sold
to John Vliem, Lemmon, SD for $3500. This Big Mac son had a
92 lb birth weight, 835 lb weaning weight and a 1364 lb yearling
weight. |

Trident 8876, a 03/02 Bieber Titan 6894 son out of a Robin
Hood 1174B daughter sold to Brad Rau of Java, SD for $3500.
This Titan son had a 796 lb weaning weight and a 1286 lb yearling

1854F sold to Anthony Kunz with KNK Ranch of Eureka, SD at $3500.
This Big Mac son had a 77 lb. Birth weight, 646 lb weaning weight,
1125 lb yearling weight. EPD's BW -2, BWR 100, WW 34, WR 101,
YW 65, YR 102. |

Canyon Hawk 1062 sold to Eric Bently of Lydonville, N.Y. for
$3300. This Boone son has a 778 lb weaning weight and a 1306
yearling weight |

Caballero 8680, a 02/02 Bieber Boone son 6927 son out of
a Bieber Verile 7038 daughter sold to Anthony Kunz with KNK
Ranch of Eureka, SD for $3300. This Boone son has a 77lb birth
weight, 675 lb weaning weight and a 1233 lb yearling weight.
